Nightmare app

They make you jump through hoops of fire in order to delete this application and go back to your original carrier. That said, I am still unhappy with this service and Im still struggling on a daily basis just to receive my messages, at this point switching back to my carrier seems far-fetched until Im eligible for an upgrade . Theres nobody in person to discuss this with in customer service; Verizon wireless and Apple genius were both confused as to how this application took over my service without a way out.
For the last three months, all of my professional contacts, close family members, friends and anybody else who tried to contact me have been told that my phone number is no longer in use. Having no idea, My mother was was terrified thinking something happened to me until I called her out of the blue to say hello... this application is a horrible nightmare. I wouldnt recommend YouMail to my worst enemies.
I feel like they robbed me. Im paying the same ridiculous amount for my phone service yet Im not getting what I signed up for.
Honestly, is plain old voicemail/visual text voicemail too high tech for monthly payments of $120 Verizon? Any thoughts YouMail?
